We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Optical Assistant

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Objective

• Responsible for assessing inventory of eyeglass frames, conduct inventory checks of frame and departmental consumables.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To carryout pre-tests such as Visual Acuity, Tonometry, Central
• Visual Field tests, Fundus Photography, Optical Coherence
• Tomography and Pachymetry as requested by the Optometrist.
• Assisting Patients with frame selection.
• Inspection of lens orders received from the lab and dispensing.
• Conduct inventory checks of frames and departmental consumables.
• Assisting the Optometrist/Ophthalmologist when required.

Job Requirements

• 1 – 2 years experience NYSC Optometrist & Post NYSC Optometrist)
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients’ staff, managers and doctors
• Outstanding accuracy and attention to detail
• Working knowledge of proper sales techniques
• Basic computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Office Word,
• Excel, and Outlook a plus.
