Accountant / Bookkeeper at SALID Agriculture Nigeria Limited
SALID Agriculture is a wholly Nigerian firm committed to ensuring a more sustainable economy through agricultural development by taking advantage of Nigeria’s wealth of agro raw materials to produce value-added raw materials and finished products that would serve both local and international markets. SALID started out trading in Shea nuts in 2013 and is now in the process of metamorphosing into value addition by going into industrial processing of the Shea nuts into Shea butter.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Accountant / Bookkeeper
Location: Kudu (Rural Setting), Niger
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
- To maintain proper books of underlying accounting records and ascertain, update and inform the organization regularly about both its financial position and financial performance;
- Provide back-up support for the Financial Controller/Strategy Manager comprehensively and effectively
Requirements
- Good First Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field;
- Three (3) years’ work experience in Accounting or Finance function(s) in manufacturing, financial services or other business sector;
- Good familiarity with accounting and finance concepts, practices and procedures e.g. auditing, due diligence exercises, feasibility studies, business plans, etc;
- Extensive familiarity with basic bookkeeping and accounting activities such as; maintenance of books of primary entry e.g. Cashbooks and the General Ledger.
