We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer
Location: Gujeni, Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance of illumination systems with various LED lighting solutions.
- Manage and ensure the reliable operation of 11KV power lines and ensure compliance with relevant licensing and regulatory standards.
- Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot sensors, including pressure and temperature sensors, and associated transmitters.
- Perform regular maintenance of actuated valves and other critical control devices
- Identify areas for automation or process improvements and collaborate with engineering teams to execute upgrades.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Provide technical guidance and training to electricians and other staff on best practices and troubleshooting methods.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline.
- Certifications in PLC programming, SCADA systems, or industrial automation are advantageous.
- 5 – 8 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation roles in manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in PLC programming, AutoCAD, SCADA systems, and HMI logic interpretation.
- Familiarity with automation systems, sensor calibration, and actuated valve maintenance.
