Job Overview
- The Front-End Developer will implement visual elements and interactions that users engage with directly within a web application. You will work closely with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality, responsive websites and applications.
- The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks, as well as a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering excellent user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design mockups and wireframes into interactive, high-quality code.
- Ensure web applications are optimized for speed, performance, and scalability across all devices and browsers.
- Work closely with back-end developers to define and implement API requirements for dynamic web applications.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and team discussions to improve the development process.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and resolve issues related to responsive design, layout, and functionality.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure applications function as expected.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, tools, and technologies.
- Contribute ideas to improve the development process, user experience, and overall quality of the product.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in front-end development, with a solid portfolio of web projects (personal or professional).
- Strong experience in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with a deep understanding of web standards and best practices.
- Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks like React.js
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub….).
- Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to write clean, maintainable code.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to debugging and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
