Job Title: FX Funding and Allocation Officer

Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for processing and delivery of all FX allocation for all products
- To provide strong support in delivery service excellence for the assigned unit or department and ensure successful implementation of all turn-around-time (TAT) as agreed with both internal and external customers. Transfer of funds to various offshore accounts (Intra-bank) as advised by Treasury Dept.
- Processing of FX conversion for Mastercard, Visa card, Ria Payment, MoneyGram, Western Union Money Transfer, TransFast settlement on daily basis
- Transfer to other banks for cross-currency settlement (FX Switches)
- Handles FX Allocation with diligence and accuracy, ensuring all information are accurately captured
- Engagement with the internal and external stakeholders on product and prompt settlement of coupons Inter-bank for FX Spot/Swap/Placement/Takings.
- Responsible for daily and periodic reconciliation of Nostro, GL and Suspense accounts, ensuring open items are timely closed on all transactions processed.
- Operationalize the associated risk control measures on FX allocations.
- Enforces presentation of compliant documents on vendor and service payments
- Attend enquiries and issues resolution requests from the FX allocation to customers.
- Laisse with Treasury on resolution of FX allocation with wrong details.
Requirements
Education Background / Professional Qualification:
- First Degree in any discipline
- TROPS Certification (ACI), master degree and other professional certification (added advantage)
Minimum Year of Experience Required:
- 3 – 5 years of experience in TROPS Functions.
