Dozzy Oil & Gas Limited is an indigenous company with core business activity in the downstream petroleum products marketing and distribution which involves procurement of various petroleum products and industrial raw materials, manufacturing of lubricants, storage, sales and distribution of petroleum products nationwide.

Job Summary
- As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and driving the successful completion of our manufacturing, engineering and construction projects.
- Your responsibilities will encompass project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, with a strong focus on meeting project goals within scope, time, and budget constraints.
- You will work closely with stakeholders, coordinate resources, and ensure that all project activities align with the company’s objectives and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages all project activities from engineering stage up to Site Integration works including procurement, contracting, fabrication and testing in accordance with project technical and quality requirement as well as budget and planning
- Directs and supervises the project team, ensuring that it works to its best potential to meet the stated requirements.
- Ensures safe working practices are carried out within the project team and the various contractors at all stages and in particular observance of the Company HSE policy, rules and procedures.
- Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of the Project Execution Plan, schedule, cost estimate, and budget for each project.
- Collaborate with various COMPANY stakeholders (FO, Maintenance, C&P, Logistics) to ensure proper interface management regarding scope of work consolidation, contracting strategy, site activities, estimate, budget, etc., for each project.
- Coordinate with relevant departments (Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, C&P, subcontractors) to communicate project requirements and ensure deliverables are met on schedule and within budget.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Conduct project risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Lead project execution from start to finish, overseeing quality, timelines, and budget adherence.
- Monitor project progress, making adjustments as needed to keep projects on track.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, controlling costs and optimizing resource allocation.
- Track expenses, review budget variances, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Enforce compliance with safety and quality standards on-site.
- Perform regular quality checks and resolve issues proactively to maintain high standards.
- Document and report on quality metrics and safety incidents.
- Maintain clear, proactive communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.
- Prepare and present project reports, including performance metrics, financial summaries, and milestone achievements.
- Foster strong client relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, change orders, invoices, and reports.
- Prepare comprehensive project closeout documents and ensure all deliverables are met.
- Manage documentation of project adjustments, lessons learned, and best practices.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Manage and resolve conflicts or challenges that may impact project delivery.
- Assist with staff training, project scheduling, and other duties as required to support project success.
Qualifications / Experience Required
- Minimum Qualification: University Degree in an Engineering discipline withover 10 years’ experience in industrial facilities projects management in particularly for oil and gas production.
- Experience: Exposure to medium or large-scale brownfield or Greenfield Projects in an international environment. International extractive energy industries as well as Electrical and Instrumentation background (ICSS, Telecom) is a plus.
- Management: High standards of teamwork, technical rigor, communication, and organization. Ability to work under pressure and stressful conditions. HSE consciousness, able to coordinate all related interfaces. Practical sense, autonomous, rigorous
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft word, Excel and database management software (e.g. MS Project, MS Access) is an added advantage.
