Job Title: SBO Operator
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Desciption
- Understand the description of operative panel for smooth operation.
- Ensure all safety precautions before starting Hydraulic pumps.
- Ensure every Billet length as per quality department requirement.
- Maintain the control room temperature as per standard requirement.
- During casting turn around ensure all discharge area greasing to smooth running.
- Whenever required work together during mold changing.
- Cooperate with Fitter in all ongoing jobs.
- Ensure cleaning of scale periodically to avoid any water blockages.
- Timely cooperate with crane operators to clear the cooling bed billets.
- Attentively on time report to shift In charge for any abnormalities during continuous casting.
- Monitor and maintain system for furnace.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng or HND) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience relevant experience prefarrably in steels company.
- Must have the ability to multitask effectively.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to work in a team.
- Candidates living in close proximity to Abuja, Niger, Kaduna and its environs are preferred.
- Must be available to resume immediately.
