The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA), in collaboration with ITF- Industrial Skills Training Centre, Lokoja invite applications from qualified young Nigerians of sound character and learning potential to undertake four months training programme.

Applications are invited for:

Title: Electrical Installation and Welding and Fabrication Technical Skills Training

Location: Lokoja, Kogi
Duration: 4 months

Programme Description
We invite applications from qualified young Nigerians of sound character and learning potential to undertake four months training in the following trade areas:

• Electrical Installation
• Welding and Fabrication

Objectives

• This programme aims at training and equipping youths with entrepreneurial skills in the above trade areas and promoting public-private sector model in Vocational and Technical Skills Training.

The Programme

• Successful candidates will enjoy tuition fee FREE, lunch, stipend and they will be awarded a National Skills Qualification (NSQ) certificate upon successful completion of the programme.
• The programme is non-residential. Candidates, will, therefore, be responsible for their accommodation throughout the duration of the programme.

Requirements

• Applicants should be between the ages of 18 and 35 years and must possess any of the following qualifications:
  • Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE)
  • B.SC, HND, OND and any of its equivalents.
• In addition, good numerical ability and fluency in communication skills will be an added advantage.

Entrance Examination
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted to come for a test and should bring along the following:

• Original Birth Certificate
• Original Educational Qualification Certificate (s)
• Original and photocopy of National ID/Voter’s Card or International Passport.

Application Deadline: 29th March, 2023.

Method of Application
Interested and qualified candidates should submit a hand written application containing two (2) recent Passport Photographs and Photocopies of credentials to: istc-lokoja@itf.gov.ng
