Job Description

- You will play a crucial role in ensuring operational safety, managing and developing teams while optimising efficiencies.
What You’ll Do
- Ensuring that the Company’s Safety policy and procedures are adhered to and are communicated to the workforce effectively
- Ensure safety levels are optimal and good housekeeping practices are applied in the factory
- Maintaining lagging and leading indicators, latest accidents, Safe start management, implementing standards, and addressing HIRA high priority items
- Organizing and controlling the production facility to produce at the correct quality and cost at the correct time
- Developing and motivating production staff to achieve agreed objectives regarding efficiency, quality, industrial standards, health, and safety
- Ensuring plant performance OEE targets are adhered to
- Reviewing and analysing production, and quality data to determine causes of non-conformity by using internal CI tools (R-EWO, QP-EWO, HERCA and A3)
- Ensuring that the correct Quality standards are complied with
- Taking appropriate action to ensure regularity of product quality and compliance with specifications and standards, at the best cost.
What You’ll Bring
- Engineering Degree, preferably a Master’s degree
- Extensive experience in a manufacturing organization or maintenance management
- Strong customer focus and performance-driven approach
- Strong technical background
- Computer literate (Microsoft package, SAP, HR systems)
- Guide and inspire the factory team to work towards achieving the company’s goals
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
