Sightsavers Nigerian Country office is excited to be offering an opportunity to gain professional experience and develop skills within the communications and development sector.
As the Communications Intern you will support the NCO NTDs team and help develop and deliver high-profile, integrated communications projects and assets. You will provide administrative support and set up key project meetings, help with research for communications initiatives and creating communications content, as well as picking up any aspects of Sightsavers NTD communications activities as requested, such as developing communications materials, track and report on results of communications activities, minute taking key meetings, and develop communications materials to support NTD initiatives.
As the successful candidate you will hold a degree (or equivalent) or have an active interest in communications, or have related work experience. You will possess good organisational skills, be a keen and enthusiastic learner, have the ability to be creative across a range of different platforms, and have excellent communication skills. Experience in writing creative communications materials and using image editing tools is desirable, but not essential.
