Job Title: Content Strategist
Location: Lagos (Remote)
Employment Type: Full Time
Description
- Reliance Health aims to redefine healthcare accessibility, affordability, and delightfulness in Emerging Markets. Leveraging technology, we’ve built an integrated health system comprising affordable health insurance, telemedicine services, and a network of partner and proprietary healthcare facilities.
- This enables us to offer innovative healthcare solutions precisely when our users need them the most.
What you’ll do
- Work with key stakeholders from across the business to develop positioning and messaging for our consumer-business content
- Work with the Head of Brand and Content to develop a content strategy for our consumer business lines targeting key user groups
- Work with our Clinical Services team to ensure the validity of any health-related content you produce
- Execute the strategy you’ve developed, creating content for consumers that can also be repurposed for employees enrolled on our business plans
- Ensure we are content-rich in key channels, including website and social media, to help drive organic interest in our consumer health plans
- Develop content that educates plan members on what their coverage entails and how to get the most value from their plans
- Work with our team of designers as well as our wider content and social media to really make your work shine
- Place a key emphasis on distribution tactics to ensure that the amazing content you’ve produced is seen by as many eyes as possible.
- Provide content support for other consumer-facing marketing activities, including digital and offline ads, billboards, radio ads, video scripts, etc.
Requirements
We’d be particularly excited if you have:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience writing health or medical content, ideally more.
- Basic knowledge of collaborative content and design platforms like Figma would be a plus
- Proficiency in Nigerian Pidgin, French or Arabic, in addition to your pristine English, would be great
What you’ll need to thrive:
- The most crucial thing is that you have a knack for great writing and an eagle eye for accuracy
- Just to reiterate: be rather good at writing – you’ve a penchant for literary panache, but you know how to craft compelling copy that will appeal to any audience, especially consumers
- Experience creating content and strategy for a medium or large consumer-facing brand is a must. You’ll know what sort of content tickles the interests of different consumer demographics
- Evidence of creating winning web and social media content that led to measurable uplift in audience engagement. We’re on a mission to turn heads and raise eyebrows (in a good way)
- A head for numbers and understanding of how to report on the excellent performance of your content in different channels (social media platform metrics, Google Analytics etc.)
- First-rate communication and teamwork skills. Our content team is growing so you need to know how to play well with others!
- Ability to be creative while working within the framework of our brand guidelines.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on constructive, supportive feedback from the rest of the content team.
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise your work effectively. This role requires you to be proactive and work equally well independently or as part of a project team.
Benefits
- A fantastic working environment that’s fully remote or based out of our offices in Nigeria.
- Premium health insurance package.
- Collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Professional development, mentoring and growth opportunities.
- Unlimited Leave Days: Take the time you need to recharge and rejuvenate.
