We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and enforce the company’s procurement policies and procedures.
• Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies
• Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
• Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
• Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
• Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
• Examine and test existing contracts
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve the effectiveness
• Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
• Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
• Expect unfavourable events through the  analysis of data and prepare control strategies
• Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
• Control spending and build a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs
• Supervising employees and activities of the department.
• Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
• Managing inventories/warehouses and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
• Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
• Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
• Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
• Preparing budgets and cost analysis
• Writing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
• Any other official assignment that may be assigned

Requirements

• HND / BSc in any discipline with a minimum of 6 years of work experience in a Procurement role, preferably in the Telecoms Industry.
