Job Summary
- This role is tailor-made for candidates passionate about corporate banking, with expertise in renewable energy and mining.
- The successful candidate will develop and manage a portfolio of high-value corporate clients, drive business development, and deliver innovative financial solutions, including high quality loans, treasury products, and trade finance services.
Job Details
- Identify and establish new relationships, consistent with the bank`s commercial objectives, so that bank`s market share is maximized.
- Providing financial advisory and support services to clients to ensure that their corporate needs are fulfilled.
- Identify the credit worthiness/risk appetite of portfolio clients and introduce them to relevant bank products/services accordingly to maximize portfolio revenue.
- Understand the competition & formulate counter strategy to safeguard bank position & win new businesses.
- Maintain high client satisfaction ratings through exceptional working relationships with clients with a view to increasing the Bank’s market share.
- Ensure high quality of credit portfolio is maintained at all times in compliance with the Bank’s credit policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
- Cross Selling of bank products and services to existing and prospective relationships to enhance business potentials and deepen market share.
- Coach team members to work cross-functionally to achieve team’s and group’s target.
- Review customer’s credit request proposed by the RM and make recommendation to MCC.
- Any other profitable businesses within the defined target markets of the bank.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related disciplines
- MBA or MSc. in related relevant disciplines and Professional Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CFA) is required
- 10 to 15 years of experience in corporate banking, with expertise in Mining and Renewable Energy finance.
- Candidate with a proven track record in credit structuring, deal origination, and client portfolio management.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, or related disciplines.
- Language Skills: Proficient in English to liaise with international stakeholders within the sectors.
- Skills: Strong financial acumen, multitasking abilities, and experience in handling complex loans and cross-border solutions.
- Strong financial analysis skills
- Proficient in MS Office, such as MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Good communication skills.
